Is A D And C Advisable When Ill-defined Gestation Sac Is Visible With Retained Products?

Hi this is richa from Bangalore..I had a abortion this Thursday. I had done a ultrasound scan of pelvis Friday, the scan says ill-defined gestation sac seen within the lower third portion of endometrial cavity measuring 16*10 mm - suggestive of retained products.. Doctor has suggested to go for D and C ,, is this suggestion is right .. my bleeding is stopped right now.. my parents were suggesting not to go for D and C ..as it has some complications.they are telling. With miscarriage, waiting is often encouraged because our body can pass the tissue on its own without need of surgical intervention. Please suggest shall I wait for my next period ..in this regard..
