Is A D&C Procedure Advisable After Miscarriage?

I had a miscarriage this morning and was wondering if I need to have a D&C procedure done. I found out I was pregnant April 1st after taking a pregnancy test. I am not sure exactly how many weeks or days I was. I should have had my menstral cycle by the end of March.

Hi, I think you should go for a ultrasound to see if there was a complete miscarriage or not. If there is any retained products of pregnancy, then you may require a D n C. D n C is not always required after miscarriages. So, better to first Do the ultrasound and then decide the need of it. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
