General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, hopefully it will be superficial swelling but if problem persists radiographic evaluation and orthopedic surgeon review may be needed. Using Tylenol or ibuprofen can be helpful. Keep applying the ice and restrictions of physical exertion may help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin
