Is A Blister At The Site Of Implant Insertion A Cause For Concern?
Hello, My name is Oks, yesterday I had an implant placed under my skin on my arm ( birth control). Today at the place where is first injection was done ( the one to numb that area) I see a blister, I guess, I wonder if I need to do anything or to worry about it? Please help ;(
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. No, this is not reason to be concerned since it is expected to have some skin changes due to such procedure and it will pull back in short time so you don't need to worry. You can apply mild steroid cream if there will be progression of redness.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Wish you good health.
Regards, Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein
