Is A Blood Mole On Thigh With Redness Around It A Cause For Concern?

I have a blood blood mole on the front of my thigh---at least that s what 2 dermatologis have told me!! It kinda has a fil over it. Doesn t hurt but a little red around it. I have looked it up on the Internet but haven t found any info reguarding a blood mole--is there another name for it and do I need it removed? Thanks
