Is A Body Temperature Of 96 In An Infant A Concern?

My 10 month old daughters temperature dropped to 95.5-96.6. She feels real clammy and does not want to go to sleep. Should we be concerned and take her into the doctor or ride it out. She seemed like her teeth were bothering her so we had given her Tylenol about 5 hours ago so I don t think that would be the cause at this point.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Need not concern. It is almost normal. Stop giving Tylenol as this can be cause for the fall of temperature. For tooth problem no medication is required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashok Kumar Dash
