Is A Borderline Enlarged Liver According To A USG A Cause For Concern?

Dear Doctor, I am 73 years old Male. On a recent Ultra Sound of my abdomen, my liver has been found as borderline enlarged in size (16.0 cm CC dimensions). The Gall bladder and Pancreas have been found normal. Is there any problem in my liver? Kindly advise. Thanks. ( Ramesh Mehta )

Hello,

In your ultrasound report, the liver is not enlarged. It is only borderline enlarged. Investigate further with CBC, PS examination, SGOT, and SGPT value. After seeing the reports, further discussion can be done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
