Is A Brownish Discharge While Urination A Cause For Concern For Pregnant Women?

Recently, about a day ago, I had and still have a brownish discharge and especially when I go pee. It has me worried that something could be wrong. My insurance is currently going through the process so I can have it in about a week I should, so until then they won't do an ultrasound. Anyway, I have NO cramps, NO bleeding, and NO pain. Just dark brown discharge a lot. So should I be worried about this??? I'm currently 10.5 weeks pregnant.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Brownish discharge during urination could be due to subchorionic hemorrhage, UTI, vaginal infection.
I would suggest to consult gynecologist and undergo vaginal examination, USG scan, vaginal swab test, urine test to confirm cause
Specific treatment depend on cause
UTi and vaginal infection require antibiotic course
Take bed rest till bleeding will disappear
Maintain proper pelvic hygiene
Hope this may help you

Contact further if follow up needed
