Is A Bruised Temple Post An Injury A Concern?

I was working in the barn earlier and I fell and went temple first in a 2x4. No loss of consciousness. It does seemed bruised because it hurts to the touch. I am not nauseous but I believe my anxiety now is making me worry about it. I should be OK right?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The bruise seems to be related to the trauma. I recommend using anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen three times a day. I also recommend using ice compresses at the area for relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
