Is A Bump On The Testicle That Occasionally Bleed While Shaving A Cause For Concern?

Hello, i have a bump of extended skin on my ball sack. When i go to shave down there it bleeds excessively for around 30+ minutes. Not really big at all about the size of a pimple you would have on your face. But when it pops or bleeds like i was saying it just heals itself shut and is still there... no pain, bright red colored. No hair or foreign objects. It isnt really a nuisance except when i go to shave down there. There is only the one just wondering what it probably is.

Hello,

You are suffering from bumps on the skin in the extended part of the ball sac. On shaving it bleeds and causes you discomfort. You are suggested to be careful and not hurt that part of the skin. Recurrent hurt may cause the bump to become chronic and may also cause infection.

You can get STD test done to be on the safer side and to detect if it is wart, herpes, etc. If positive you will be treated with a course of antibiotics or antivirals. You can apply ointment Soframycin or Clotrimazole cream if (fungal infection) to help it heal faster. You can get clinically examined by a Urologist, you may be recommended treatment by laser or cryotherapy.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
