Is A Change In Food Habits And Lifestyle Needed?

Hi, I've recently had an angioplasty (to stents placed) to treat 2 narrowed blood vessels as I was diagnosed for ACS. Now...I'm a smoker and believe in enjoying life. My cardiologist has told me that I should quite smoking, change eating habits (no egg-yoke, no shrimp, crab, salt reduction, etc). This basically means that there's not much left to enjoy, which is very depressing. Is it really this drastic, or is reducing all the above (including smoking to occasionally from 1 pack a day) sufficient. Thanks & regards, Frank Bax - Jakarta, Indonesia

Dear friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Life style changes are a MUST
Medicines come next – to supplement not supplant…
Smoking must be stopped immediately, completely and permanently…

This initial reaction is from depression / we have treated thousands, who have given up for the better

Sorry to say that your concept of enjoyment is misplaced
One can enjoy life, if only one is alive – the chance of another ACS is extremely high in smokers…
There are several other things – better and harmless…

Take care
Good luck
