Is A Delayed Period, Spotting With Bleeding After Unprotected Intercourse A Pregnancy?
hello(: My friend had intercourse andher boyfriend finished inside of her four to five times. The first time was about three weeks ago. Her period was supposed to arrive around the 6th of september, but it didn't. Then she started spotting blood and now she's bleeding.. what does that mean?

Hi..your friend has performed unprotected sex, and that too with 4-5 times ejaculation in her vagina, this places her at a high risk of pregnancy..so she should perform an urgent urine pregnancy test ( upt) by self at home.. Her bleeding might be normal menses ( if upt negative)..but if upt is positive i.e. double line on kit, she might be at risk of threatened or missed abortion or ectopic i.e.extrauterine pregnancy..for which a transvaginal ultrasound would confirm the diagnosis and decide further management.. In addition i would suggest her to use a condom or some other birthcontrol method the next time she indulges in such activities..
