Is A Delayed Period With Nausea And Bleeding Due To A Pregnancy?

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. he pulled out before he came but my period is late. Its been a little over weeks since that day and I've been feeling really nausous so i took a pregnancy test and it came out negative... and then we did forplay and now I'm bleeding. Am I pregnant? And if so why am I bleeding?

Hallow Dear,

Even though he had withdrawn his penis before ejaculation, there is always a chance that pre-ejaculation secretions (precum) have been deposited in the vagina; since they leak out unknowingly. Precum does contain some sperms which may cause pregnancy.

It is few weeks from the incidence; however how many days after missing a period. Pregnancy test may report false negative if performed too early; its results are reliable after about a week of missed period.

However, now you have got bleeding; so most likely you have got your menses and you are not pregnant. You may confirm the diagnosis by repeating pregnancy test on overnight early morning first urine sample after a couple of days again. If it is still negative, consider this bleeding as your menstrual discharge - you are not pregnant then.
