Is A Dent On The Shin Bone Post An Injury A Cause For Concern?

I have a dent in my shin bone at the side following when I was chasing my children in a garden game and I tripped over a wall and scrapped my shin. I m not in any pain but the scrape has left a scar and dent has stayed (I had assumed it was a bruise). Should I get it looked at or is a dent just the new shape of my leg?
