Is A Discharge Instead Of Menstruation Normal For Now?

Im off the pill since Janurary 11' and I had a regular period for Feburary and April. Its March now and around the time of my period I got brown discharge followed by white at the moment. Im a week late now? I have had sex but he didnt finish inside me but im worried as he pulled out. Would this be normal for just coming off the pill or should I be worried?
