hello madam.. i am a 29 yr old married woman,, i had taken mpt kit with misoprostol on 21st june and mifepriston on 23rd june.. i had proper menstrual bleeding for 10 days .. following that i have brownish discharge looking like inner lining.. do u think there s something to worry about? or is that normal following abortion..

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Usually, after an abortion or delivery, normal bleeding is followed by brownish discharge for a few days. This is due to the serous discharge with altered color. Yet, since you had a self-induced abortion, I would suggest a clinical evaluation by an expert. This should be followed by a trans-vaginal sonogram to ensure completion of the process. Please maintain proper genital hygiene. Maintain regular contraception in order to avoid unwanted pregnancies in future. Hope this helps.
