Is A Gallbladder Growth Of 2.5 Cm A Cause For Concern?

I have a 2.5 cm in my gallbladder. Everything else looks normal . I have had 2 attacks in the past 4 months but the pain passed . Do you think I should have it removed . My husband and I travel a lot(we are retired ) and I do not want to have an attack away from home .
