Is A Hard Bump On Head After Bumping The Head A Cause For Concern?

I have a hard bump on my head that I noticed 6 months ago My family dr. looked at it. I told him I bumped my head , which I did. He said it will takeawhile for it to go away. but I am worried about it. I keep thinking it is something bad, Pleaseadvise.

Hi,

Let me tell you that the symptoms described by you suggest that you have lipoma over the head. You can better send me a photo of the bump on reports in order to better evaluate it. I suggest doing an FNAC of the bump. The treatment of lipoma is surgical removal with a local anaesthetic agent.
