Is A Large Rounded Calculus Inside The Gall Bladder Serious?

Hello Doctor,
Today I realised my gall bladder shows a large rounded calculus within. It measures 3 X 2.5 x 1.5 CM and shows a smooth contour. Portal vein (14 mm) is normal in calibre and is patent.CBD is undilated and has a clear lumen.
Please let me know how serious it is. I have no symptom or pain.
Thanks,

Neeta, Mumbai.

well most of the time gall stones remain asymptomatic and don't give you much trouble. but if they give you get complication like,
perforation/burst gallbladder
bike duct instructions
secondary infection
jaundice
then I suggest you to get it removed.
till that time just avoid,
alcohol, painkillers like morphine and other narcotics, high fat diet.
For precaution sake get USG done routinely.
