Is A Lump In The Breast Malignant?

Hi I had mamagram it showed lump in left breast then had steretatic biopsy got letter saying I got follow up appointment said I be seeing consultant but on other letter said breast care nurse will tell me results then I rung them all she said is doc got results can a nurse tell you results

Understand your concern
Following are the cause of lump in the breast:
Lipoma, fibroadenosis (benign tumor), Breast abscess, and cancer.
Final report will depend on histopathology report.
It should be correlated by radiological findings.
There is no relation between malignant lump and result should be tell by nurse.
Lipoma and fibroadenosis should be treated by surgical excision. Tissue should be sent for histopathology after excision. Medicine like selective estrogen receptior modulator can be used.
Malignat tumor require specific treatment depend on stge and severity.
Abscess can be treated by surgical excition plus antibiotic.
