Is A Mark Caused By Bite Of Anti Rabid Dog Concerning?

I was bitten by a dog on my hand. It was anti-rabid. My skin didn t break and I had no bleeding. It wasn t even paining. I washed it with water and soap. It s been 3 days and some mark is still there, (even though it is barely visible). What should I do? Is it harmful? Are there any chances of dying? Please help me, I m really scared.

Hello, Thnx to contact us. If I am your treating doctor I would like to advice you that if the dog has been vaccinated for rabies, you need not to worry. It is very good that you have washed the wound. You do not want to do anything, as the bite marks will heal by it self, just give some time to it. It is not at all harmful. You are not going to die by it. If you have anything else to ask please contact me. Thanx. Dr. Arun Tank
