Is A Metal Wire Stabbing The Finger A Cause For Concern?

I got a flat tire when i was driving.. so i pulled over to change it. after getting the flat off, i went to put it in my trunk and i guess i didnt realize the metal wire in the tire was exposed and stabbed my finger. i got a tetanus booster 2 years back, should i be concerned? my finger was obviously covered with dirt as well.

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. If you are sure that you had the tetanus booster two years back, there may not be anything to worry about tetanus. But there are possibilities of simple infections. See whether the metal wire is rusted and consult a surgeon to dress the wound and apply required treatment measures. Please do not self diagnose and ignore the treatment procedure.
