Is A Mild Seizure Attack Indicative Of Childhood Epilepsy Relapse?

Hi, i found out back when i was 9 that I had epilepsy, i was taken off my meds when i was 14, so it s been almost 19 years seizure free, but right at the start of this year I had my first seizure, it didn t last very long. I was wondering if that could be the start of a relapse and if it would be anything to worry about

Hello,

I think you should consider visiting a neurologist and do an EEG. Maybe during this 19 years, you had a remission and something changed and it started again. You need further evaluation of situation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka
