Dear Christina,

Breast symptoms after missing period do suggest pregnancy. Cramps in the abdomen is not a cardinal symptom of pregnancy.

The pregnancy test on urine may report false negative results if done too early or on a late sample (during the day) of urine. Please repeat the test on overnight morning first urine sample about a week after the missed period. Then it should give you reliable results.

Alternatively you may opt for a more sensitive and specific test - Beta hCG test on the blood. This test gives reliable results from 10 days after the last unprotected sexual intercourse. Values of hCG more than 25 mIU/ml are diagnostic of pregnancy while in non-pregnant state, the values are under 5mIU/ml.

I am sure this will help you resolve your dilemma.
