Is A Nodule On Left Adrenal Gland Suggestive Of Cancer?

I had a CT scan with contrast of my chest. The test found a 2.2 cm nodule on my left adrenal gland. I can t see the endocrinologist for 2 weeks and I m worried that the nodule could be a cancer since I had breast cancer stage 1 in the right breast last year. My blood tests have shown no markers for breast cancer for the last 10 months.

Dear I read facts of your query and reviewed it in context to your query health issues.
I understood your health concerns and feel Concerned about them.

Based on the facts of your query, you seem to suffer from-
A nodule -left Adrenal?Benign / ?Malignant.
This may happen with Adrenal Cushings(Corticosteroid excess) / or Conn's(Aldosteron secreting) /Adrenal Myelo-lipomas- usually under 3 cm in CT size
/ Pheochromocytoma(larger than 4 cm)/Syndrome/ or could be Secondary metastasis from other tumours - like from breast.
All these possibilities need to be verified in your case

Remedy and Do's-
Check with Endocrinologist / Cancer Breast Surgeon or Gp doctor for expert examination and assessment of cause of this fever / chills.

-Check with Second Surgeon to assess the type and possibility of Adrenal gland tumour.
-Possibility of Mets from Breast Cancer stage 1 with no Biomarkers for last 10 mths, needs to be ruled out and is very less , as biomarkers are negative in your case, but could not be denied.

-Other causes need to be verified as the facts may be different what you submitted.

-For this Second opinion from Cancer Surgeon / Endocrinologist is needed who would do proper investigation after proper physical assessment to resolve your health issues.

-for early recovery-please follow above do's which would resolve your issues.
