Is A Painful Spot Near The Ribs Suggestive Of Iron Deficiency?

I have a blue spot that has been on my left rib for about 4 months now. It recently has gotten a lot worse, to the point where it is waking me up during the night because I am laying on it. I have recently felt very out of breath. My mom is Iron Deficient. Could this all be caused by me being Iron Deficient as well?

I don't think this is related to iron deficiency.

You should get examined physically by a doctor to check the origin of the blue spot you are having.
