Is A Patch Of Red, Itchy Skin On Stomach A Cause For Concern?

Hello, I noticed a small patch of itchy red skin on my stomach, on the left side close to the underwear elastic at the top of my underwear. I thought it may have been an irritation from wearing underpants with a lace trip during exercise which caused irritation. It s been there a few days now and has not spread a great deal but is still quite itchy. I put a cold cream like nivea cream and that seems to help. Just wondering if I should get it checked out or if I should be concerned?

HI
Well come to HCM
Such lesion could be due to contact dermatitis, and this can be best managed with "Beclomethasone cream" apply this on affected area three time in day, but differential diagnosis is also matter of concern, and chances of "herpes" need to be ruled out, clinical examination is very important for this, take care.
