Is A Positive Home Pregnancy Test A Sure Sign Of Pregnancy?
I have missed my period by a week. Usual my period cycle is of 28-29 days. last period I had was on 17July. I did a home pregnancy test on 18Aug and it came postive. Should I wait for my periods further or get checked by a doctor. I am not planning for a baby now.

Pregnancy test has a 95 % sensitivity to detect the pregnancy, after 7 days of the missed period.
I think you should repeat the home pregnancy kit 7-8 days after missed period to confirm the pregnancy.
Along with that you can also go for the blood HCG test.
It is very accurate test to detect the pregnancy.
You should consult the gynecologist for proper management of the pregnancy.
