Is A Sharp Pain In The Right Leg A Cause For Concern?

I a having a sharp pain in my right leg. (right where the leg meets the groin.) hurts enough that it woke me up. Hurts really bad when I bend over. Is worse when I lie down. Hurts worse when I pass gas. just took ibuprofen, hoping to mask the pain enough that I can go back to sleep. SHOULD I BE concerned? WHat might it be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Appears to be either a muscle cramp or tendon pain due to accidental pull in sleep.
Try ice packs along with ibuprofen. Nothing to worry about.
I would recommend a visit to doctor if the pain is not relieved even after taking medicine or you have difficulty walking.
hope this answers your query. Thank you.
