Is A Skin Rash That Looks Like A Sunburn Related To A Calf Muscle Tear?

I had a second degree calf muscle tear about 18 days ago. I had significant swelling, than bruising, and now the skin on the calf muscle itself has a brown rash that is almost peeling like a sunburn. Is this skin issue related to the calf muscle tear?

Hello,

It could be unhealthy skin or scab. It will peel off and new skin will appear. Nothing much to worry.

If there is signs of infection topical antibiotics like Mupirocin can be tried.
