Is A Soft Bump On My Left Rib Cage Worrisome?

Hello. I just discovered a strange bump on my rib cage. It feels soft and I can move it a bit under the skin. It does not hurt. I only have it on the left side. Should I be concerned? What could it be? Fatty tissue? I am 5 6 and weigh about 155 lbs.

Hello,

From what you are describing, it seems like fatty tissue (lipoma). However, get an ultrasound of the soft tissue done to evaluate the changes and confirm the diagnosis.
