General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
From the rash you describe, it seems to be allergy followed by inflammation due to bite. I would suggest to apply steroid skin cream like Betnovate N and take Ibugesic 200 MG twice or thrice a day along with Levocetirizine pill over the counter at bed time. The problem should resolve in 3-5 days time. In case in increases / does not heal get it examined by your family physician.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
