Is A Sudden Pain In Neck A Symptom Of Pinched Nerve?
I all of a sudden, (about 10 days ago ) developed a pain in my neck that slowly progressed down my left arm. After going to my chiropractor, he told me I had a pinched nerve in my lower neck region, After a snapping adjustment, and electro therapy, I felt a lot better. Not cured, but not as painful. Now the pain has returned and my forearm is now swollen tight. Have not taken any pain pills but I need to know which medication would be best through this ordeal ?
I think you should do an x-ray of the cervical spine to check it's conditioning. Taking anti-inflammatory drugs such as Advil or naproxen for pain relief and also lower inflammation.
Don't do physiotherapy or chiropractic without clarifying that there is not a connection which can get worse by it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
