Is A Tender Bruise On The Leg For A Child A Concern?

I have a 7 year old who hit his leg on his bike bar about 3 weeks ago. It is still bruised and tender. There is also a large lump. He walks fine, but complains about it hurting each day more because it s tender, not to walk on. Shoulders I be concerned about a fracture? Or does it just need more time?How long should wait before seeing a doctor.

Thanks for the query.
A hit 3 weeks back ,still haaving a lump getting more & more painful... does indicate some boney injury. ( hairlune or frank fracture) ./infection
You should take him to an orthopedic surgeon for his expert examinatuon /x ray to diagnose the thing.. followed by specific treatment.
