Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Is A Tender Spot On Left Abdomen While Having High ALT And AST Levels A Cause For Concern?
I am a 48 year old male with high ALT and AST levels (signs of fatty liver) and have been making changes to my diet and working out (cardio) the last several days. Today I noticed left left side of my belly button to about one inch out is tender to the touch (seems more on the top inch or so) . I am concerned and want to know if I can travel or if it is something more serious. Any guidance would be appreciated.
I think you should check that lump with your caring gastroenterologist and by running abdominal ultrasound. After getting the results we can decide if you can travel.
Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini
