Is A Very Small Lump Under The Skin Of My Left Scrotum A Concern?

Male teenager. I recently discovered a very small lump under the skin of my left scrotum. It is only somewhat tender if squeezed. It is very hard to distinguish from sight alone, but it does resemble a pimple. As a virgin, STI s are hopefully ruled out. Should I be worried?

Hi,

Nothing to worry. A small lump in the scrotal skin is a small cyst and usually resolves on its won if you do not fondle it. Such lumps are very common. Never are cancerous.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
