Is Accidental Biting Of Thermometer By A Child A Cause For Concern?

My 6yr old daughter has bitten a thermometer without knowing it was glass pieces. She had spitted out most of them. Had made her rinse her mouth well. Iam bit worried and not sure if she should be seen by doc. The mercury stuff and the glass is bothering me a lot. Pls answer soon

Mercury is a poisonous compound.
Symptoms of Mercury poisoning are:
paresthesia or itching, burning, pain, or even a sensation that resembles small insects crawling on or under the skin;skin discoloration, swelling, and peeling of skin.
If any symptoms occur please contact the near emergency services.
