Is Accidental Piercing With Used Needle Harmful?

Hi I was in work today and was giving a lady her insulin with a needle, as I was placing the cap back on it she moved and I pierced the top of my finger, and I squeezed it so blood ran out I washed it and put alcohol gel on it will I be ok or will I need cheaking, I checked her medical reports and she does not have any type of infection .

Well your have already taken necessary precautions like checking her reports for some serious condition , squeezed blood and sterile site with alcohol . If there will be any pain , redness or inflammation the immediately consult doctor for proper examination and treatment . Doctor will order blood test and prescribe treatment accordingly .
