Hello,

Rusty lancet prick can be causing various symptoms as
- Infection at the prick part with pain
- Cellulitis with spread of infection in surrounding tissue
- Fever
- Clostridia in certain cases
- Systemic sepsis or else

Kindly clean the area thoroughly with antiseptic liquids, apply sterile dressing of Polymycin cream and get immediate medical help to nearest center without any delay.

Do not neglect the instance even though there is no pain at present.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Wish you best recovery and health.

Thank you.

Regards,
