Is Accidental Swallowing Of A Worm In The Fruit Harmful?

I cut a slice off of an uncut watermelon and I noticed the flesh was paler than usual and I thought it probably wasn t fully ripe. As I was eating it a large dark worm crawled out of the piece. I don t know if I ate any of it or not Should I be concerned? It was a gross experience.

I really appreciate your concern, I would advise you to just forget it, and do not pay attention else you would be under depression and it would be more danger than the worm if ever eaten, in absence of clinical symptoms it is nothing to worry and if it is ever been eaten then also it is nothing to worry hope this information helps.
