Is Accidental Swallowing Of Kerosene By A Toddler Harmful?

My 2 years daughter consumed kerosene I am not sure whether she split it before 2 days there was a very little kerosene in the jar she has cough she also played with cold water a lot that day she is not having any other problem I took her to doctor he advised to observe her looking at the x ray there is no smell of kerosene in her poty or breath she is breathing properly should I worry doctor said a little bit effect can seen in the X ray I am dying in tension please advise me

I really appreciate your concern, the most important is how the kerosene being ingested, very little amount may not cause any serious effects still the corrosive effects of kerosene that may happens with esophagus is likely, with the little kerosene it may not need any treatment but it could be self limiting.
Clinical observation is must, x-ray may not helps but gastric aspiration could give some clues, breathing odor may gives the idea about the kerosene in side the stomach.
