Is Acid Reflux And Abdominal Pain Due To Bacterial Infection On Abdominal Lining?

my 24 year old son has acid reflux. now for the last 6 months he has stomach pain whenever and whatever he eats or drinks. he has a negative CAT scan for ulcers and gall bladder issues. could he possibly have a bacterial infection in the lining of his stomach?

Hello. A bacterial infection with Helicobacter pylori is very likely if ulcers and gall bladder issues have been ruled out. It can be confirmed by a simple breath test or even by a biopsy taken during Endoscopy. Hope this helps.
