Is Acute Psychotic Disorder Curable?

Hi doctor. My co-sister is suffering from Acute Psychotic Disorder. Her age is 34 yrs and she is having a 7 months old baby boy. my brother-in-law is very co-operative to her. Can you pls tell me, is her disease curable? if so, within how much time.
