Is Air Travel Is Safe After Having A Heart Attack In '96?

Hi! I am contemplating air travel, (two flights lasting between 11 and 12 hours, to take place within two weeks of each other), and have an ejection fraction of 35%. I suffered a heart attack in '96 and have a stent. Should I think twice concerning the air travel? Thank you.

Hi,
The flights are relatively safe, if
you have good physical capacity,
you don't have shortness of breath during your usual physical activities
your legs are not swollen
your heart failure is compensated
you don't have high grade angina

Take care

If you have further questions don't hesitate to ask
