Is Alcohol Consumption Advisable While On Eliquis And Flagyl?

How much alcohol can one consume safely when taking Eliquis (5 mg 2x daily) and upon completing Flagyl (Metronidazole) 500 mg 3x daily, how much time should elapse to safely consume alcohol. For both of these meds, how much is a safe amount to drink (I usually like a 12 oz beer and/or one glass of wine - about 6 oz.)?

Hello, If one is on Metronidazole, then it is better to avoid alcohol till that drug is being taken. Because it produces a disulfuram like reaction to alcohol. Causing severe bout of vomiting headache etc. With Tab Eliquis no such reports are there. Thanks.
