Is Alcohol Consumption Safe While Suffering From Elevated Liver Enzymes?
I am 27 Year old Man I i got test liver function due to high cholesterol At that time my sgpt was 108, Sogt-42, GammaGt-79 After that dictor priscribe me udilive 300 After one month i got test my sgpt is 32 After that i stopped taking udilive 300 After one month again i got test of sgpt at that time it is 103 Due to rise in sgpt i stared with udilive300 again After 20 days re test at that time my sgpt wass 33 its been 1.5 My sgpt in control, I am still taking udilive 300 Now i am planing to go on holiday in manali for week, so i want know that should i drink wine ? I am not regular drinker, i take it ocationaly hardly once in month so is it safe to drink I didnt drink since last six month

Chronic alcohol consumption is definitely hazardous for liver. As you stated occasionally drinking alcohol, which usually not elevates enzymes. But before going to the trip I advise you to have full liver function test as well as ultrasound test of liver as preventive measure.
