Hi, so i am 19 years old and had sex with my boyfriend without protection a few days before my period, maybe a week. I am on my period right now but it isn t the same as normal. I usually have a light period and it only lasts for a few day, 5 at most, the first an second day I bled normally but for the last few days I have been bleeding brown blood very lightly. I haven t even used a tampon because it s that late. Could I be pregnant?
In my opinion, your chance of pregnancy is extremely RARE if your cycle is regular and did unprotected sex just 1 week before period due date (safe sex mostly).
You have gotten normal period for first 2 days and then get brown blood. Underlying causes could be old blood, endometrial tissue, hormonal imbalance, stress/ depression, vaginal/ pelvic infection etc. Endometriosis should be ruled out in this context.
Please consult with gynecologist for complete health check up with relevant investigation like USG scan for pelvic pathology. Take proper medication as per test reports.
Maintain genital hygiene. Avoid mental stress. Practice safe sex in future. Good luck.
