Is An Air Bubble Above The Left Eye Post A Skull Fracture A Concern?
I m 27 yrs old. Have a skull fracture above my left eye with a noted air bubble via e-ray. My nose is broken in 4 places - 2 on each side. My concern is the air bubble. Will this indeed go away on it s own or is a x-ray necessary to see how it has progressed?
It may be an after effect of skull fracture. where the air in the sinuses entered the orbit. In most cases it will settle by itself: Consult an ophthalmologist and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
