Is Anemia Related With Low Iron, mouth Ulcers And Dizziness?

hello, im a 18yr old girl and have had blood tests 2 yrs ago saying i had low iron. i took vitamins for a little while. then stopped. I went on a no redmeat diet a few months ago and started getting mouth ulcers. i looked it up and saw low iron is a cause so i stopped. i often get dizzy spells, random nosebleeds. I fall asleep in class even when i get a good nights sleep. is it possible i could be anemic?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Inoredr to assess whether you have anemia or not, you need to get certain investigations done- red blood cell counts, hemoglobin, red cell indices and peripheral blood smears examination to know the degree of anemia and type of anemia.
Once the type of anemia is known, the cause of anemia can be assessed and thus treatment can be planned.
Mouth ulcers usually occur due to deficiency of vitamin B group.
Dizziness is a non-specific symptoms and can occur due to a number of causes.

Thanks and take care
