I am 31, I weigh 135 lbs and am 5´4 .I was 5 weeks pregnant and took 800mg of cytotec 3 oral and i vaginally. The next day I bleed a little and saw very little blood clots. On the second day there was very little bleeding. Should I take another dose of cytotec as I am not sure that the abortion was succesful

Hello dear
Understand your concern
As bleeding is started means abortion process is started. But blood with clots and tissue has to passed. Wait for maximum 72 hour for more bleeding. If no more blood you can take extra dose of misoprostol vaginally under the advice of gynecologist to prevent complication like excessive bleeding and cramps.
Dose and schedule should be decided by gynecologist. You should consult the doctor for USG scan at 7th day (if no more bleeding ) and at 14th day (if blood with tissue and clots passed first 3-5 days)
Hope this may help you
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
